Why This Role Exists

Our Global Partnerships team is expanding the kinds of deals it does — beyond asset listings into TradFi and Web3 products such as DEX, wallets and blockchain infrastructure. We're looking for a partnerships operator who can carry a deal from first conversation through to launch, and who's comfortable structuring commercial models across more than one product line.

What You'll Own

Sourcing, evaluating and developing strategic partnership opportunities across asset listings, TradFi and Web3 products
Managing the full partnership process — outreach, qualification, due diligence, proposal development, commercial negotiation, contracting and launch
Owning day-to-day relationships with global partners, and supporting senior-level engagements led by the executive team
Structuring cross-product partnership models and negotiating commercial terms, incentives, commitments and scope
Coordinating closely with research, product, legal, compliance, risk, operations and marketing to drive execution
Preparing clear internal recommendations, deal materials and progress updates
Representing Gate at relevant industry events and partner meetings

Who We're Looking For

5-8+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, corporate development, fintech, financial services, digital assets or Web3
Native-level English communication, with strong commercial writing, presentation and negotiation ability; working Chinese is an advantage
Demonstrated experience managing complex partnerships involving multiple stakeholders and business lines
Strong understanding of at least two of: digital asset listings, TradFi, brokerage, capital markets, stablecoins, tokenisation, wallets, DEX, DeFi or blockchain ecosystems
Strong commercial judgment, ownership, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving global organisation
Nice to have: an existing network across fintech, TradFi, crypto or Web3

This is a genuinely cross-product partnerships seat — you won't be running the same playbook on the same deal type every quarter. You'll own deals end to end, with direct access to the executive team on the engagements that matter, and enough autonomy to shape how a partnership is structured rather than executing someone else's terms. For a BD who wants range across listings, TradFi and Web3 at global scale, there aren't many equivalents.
