We are seeking a highly effective Senior Manager to join our Finance Team in our department dedicated to employment and employability!

In this role, you will support NTUC's sub-department. You will support the Team Lead in overseeing finance operations ensuring compliance with policies and strategic alignment with company objectives. The candidate will manage a team of finance professionals, engage with key stakeholders, and help drive the efficiency of processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Team Lead to oversee finance operations, including financial closing, budgeting, taxation, and GST.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of financial reports, supported by detailed analysis. Present insights and recommendations to Management.
Act as the SAP S/4HANA system administrator and primary point of contact with SAP vendor.
Responsible for review and update of finance policies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and productivity.
Provide guidance and advice to team members on financial matters.
Manage statutory audit activities and liaise with external auditors.
Support ad hoc assignments and cross-functional projects as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with three years in a supervisory role. Public sector experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Ability to confidently present to internal stakeholders including Management on reporting decks, policies, and best practices.
Proficient in SAP S/4HANA (Finance and Procurement modules), with experience in system enhancements and improvements.
Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to multitask and deliver accurate work under tight timelines in a dynamic environment.
Demonstrated integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all aspects of work.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Working Location: Jurong East, Devan Nair Institute

Designation and salary will be commensurate with experience.
