1 Year Contract Senior Accounts Executive

Salary: S$4,500 - S$5,500 per month

Join a leading global energy and commodities company, as an Accounts Executive. This role offers the opportunity to gain broad exposure across financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, treasury support, and corporate finance activities within a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

. Review and validate monthly Accounts Payable (AP) postings related to trade transactions.

. Prepare and review monthly journal vouchers (JVs) to ensure accurate financial reporting.

. Maintain and reconcile monthly accounting schedules and supporting documentation.

. Process and apply Accounts Receivable (AR) incoming receipts, including issuing payment notifications.

. Perform monthly voyage accruals to ensure timely and accurate cost recognition.

. Prepare quarterly consolidation reporting packages and submit financial information for group reporting.

. Review and monitor short-term weekly cash flow projections and quarterly long-term cash flow forecasts.

. Support the annual budgeting exercise, including preparation of General & Administrative (G&A) budgets and consolidation of divisional budgets for the assigned entity.

. Prepare Annual Income Statement (AIS) reporting and ensure timely statutory submissions.

. Complete quarterly financial and regulatory surveys accurately and within reporting deadlines.

. Assist with ad hoc finance and accounting projects as assigned.

Requirements

. Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.

. At least 2-5 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in trading, shipping, commodities, or a multinational corporation.

. Good understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, budgeting, and financial reporting.

. Experience with cash flow forecasting and consolidation reporting will be an advantage.

. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

. Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

. Able to work independently while managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
