Join our Payments Operations team and help keep our cash and payments services running safely, accurately, and on time. In this role, you will support day-to-day cash operations while improving processes, strengthening controls, and partnering with stakeholders across the business. You will contribute to change and automation initiatives, support regulatory and industry requirements, and help deliver a strong client experience.

Job responsibilities

. Provide oversight and governance of cash operations in Singapore, ensuring consistent performance and timely issue resolution.

. Lead payment escalations and investigations, applying structured analysis and root-cause problem solving to resolve non-routine issues.

. Coordinate actions across teams, communicate status and risks clearly, and ensure escalation paths are followed.

. Deliver process and control improvements, including productivity initiatives, automation opportunities, and support for new system implementations.

. Define requirements, track progress, and maintain clear documentation for assigned initiatives, including process mapping and success metrics.

. Maintain procedures and documentation, ensuring they remain current and are followed consistently.

. Monitor operational risk, support fraud prevention activities, and escalate and remediate control gaps.

. Ensure practices comply with applicable industry standards and legal and regulatory requirements.

. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and, where applicable, regulators or industry bodies on industry testing and market initiatives.

. Partner with risk, audit, and compliance teams on reviews and remediation, ensuring issues are resolved sustainably.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

. Bachelor's degree

. Minimum 5 years of experience in payments and/or cash operations within financial services, including oversight, investigations, or escalation management.

. Strong knowledge of payment channels, including SWIFT, MEPS, GIRO, and FAST, with awareness of regulatory requirements and industry practices.

. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis and practical issue resolution.

. Strong risk and control mindset, with experience strengthening controls through disciplined execution and documentation.

. Experience partnering with risk, audit, and compliance teams, including supporting reviews and remediation.

. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear updates to senior stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

. Experience with ISO 20022 and/or SWIFT message standards and processing.

. Exposure to automation tools and digital workflow improvements in payments operations.
