About The Role

We are seeking someone who is passionate about food content and capable of conceptualising and producing engaging video and photo content for Eatbook's digital platforms. This individual will translate food trends and audience insights into creative ideas, lead shoots, and create high-quality, platform-optimised content for social media. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams while mentoring junior creatives to maintain strong creative and storytelling standards.

What You Will Do

Writing & Content Creation

Pitch and produce content for Eatbook.sg and client projects
Develop long-form features, including research and interviews, to maintain a strong pipeline of in-depth food content
Execute organic content for social media, including Instagram Stories, captions, and related duties

Team Support & Mentorship (for senior role)

Assist editors with content planning and execution
Mentor and guide interns, including managing their work, motivating them, and supporting their well-being

The Successful Candidate Should Have

At least 1 year of experience (3 years for senior role) in content writing, editorial, journalism, media, or digital publishing (food content experience is a strong advantage)
Degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, or related disciplines is advantageous
Strong command of written English, with the ability to craft engaging, accurate, and reader-friendly content
Proven ability to pitch story ideas and identify trends that resonate with online audiences
Comfortable conducting research and interviews to develop in-depth, long-form features
Passion for food culture and the F&B scene in Singapore
Meticulous with fact-checking, grammar, and attention to detail
Familiarity with SEO best practices is a plus
Portfolio of published writing samples is required
