About the Role

This is a hands-on HRBP role and sits at the intersection of talent acquisition and people partnering, designed for someone with a strong TA foundation who is ready to grow their remit into broader HR business partnering.

You will own end-to-end hiring for your assigned business units while taking on progressively expanding responsibility across engagement, retention, and employee lifecycle management. It's a role for someone who has mastered the craft of talent acquisition and is ready for the next chapter.

What You'll Do

Talent Acquisition (Primary)

Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned business units across operational, sales, and corporate functions
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand manpower needs, team dynamics, and the nuance behind every open role
Drive sourcing through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, career fairs, and proactive talent mapping
Conduct skills and talent mapping exercises to identify capability gaps, succession risks, and hiring priorities within assigned business units
Build and sustain pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions
Conduct screening and interviews to assess both capability and cultural fit
Ensure every candidate has a responsive, respectful experience throughout
Manage offer coordination, salary proposals, and onboarding arrangements
Support employer branding efforts - social media content, career fairs, campus engagement
Track recruitment performance and hiring data; translate patterns into actionable insights and hiring recommendations

HR Business Partnering (Growing)

Serve as the day-to-day HR point of contact for assigned business units, supporting employee relations and people matters
Partner with managers on engagement and retention - identifying early risk signals and converting them into outcome-based interventions
Support the employee lifecycle consistently - from onboarding through offboarding
Collaborate with the broader HR team on cross-functional people initiatives

What You Bring

A diploma or degree in a related discipline
At least 4-5 years of hands-on, end-to-end talent acquisition experience in a mid- to large-sized organisation
Some exposure to HR business partnering or a genuine appetite to grow in that direction
Demonstrated ability to analyse people data - spotting patterns, surfacing risks, and translating findings into practical, outcome-based recommendations
Proficiency in ATS platforms (e.g. Avature, Workday) and comfort with recruitment metrics and reporting
Strong working and applied knowledge of local employment regulations, legislation, and statutes - including the Employment Act, fair employment guidelines, and tripartite advisories
Strong communication skills and the judgment to navigate hiring manager conversations with candour and care
Commercially aware, well-organised, and energised by a role that spans both execution and relationship-building
IHRP certification preferred
