Requirements

. Diploma / Degree holder

. Background in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business Administration, or related field is preferred

. Minimum 2 years of experience in events management or a related field

. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

. Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills

. Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and stakeholders

Job Description

As Temporary Officer, Events Management, you will support the Event Chairpersons / Leads in the planning, coordination, operations and management of NRF's flagship events, strategic stakeholder engagements, award ceremonies, official visits, and other key meetings and platforms.

Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

Support Event Chairpersons / Event Leads in coordinating the planning, operations and management of assigned events and engagements
Strategically plan and execute NRF flagship events, as well as other key NRF events and meetings - both local and international
Liaise with NRF senior management and stakeholders in providing timely updates and recommendations on event-related matters
Coordinate and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, academia, speakers, delegates and service providers
Execute and ensure smooth operations and strong working relationship with our appointed event vendors and service providers
Support the development and implementation of event plans, operational workflows, risk mitigation measures and contingency arrangements to ensure successful event delivery
Support the preparation of briefing materials, reports, presentations and post-event reviews for management and stakeholders
Ensure that the Events Management Unit databases, departmental filing systems and procured IT systems are well maintained and kept up to date.
