Responsibilities

Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
Rebuilds engineering equipment as required
May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.
Ensure record keeping and documentation in equipment tracking system.
Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment.
Respond to customer requests and Prioritize customer requests accordingly.
Follow safety procedures and area work rules including proper PPE, lockout and chemical safety.
Operate and maintain equipment and tools within manufacturers and company safety guidelines.
Support internal and external audits
Product tracking and inventory controls.
Work closely and liaise with machine vendors for equipment setup, modification/upgrade and repair.
Foster closer collaboration amongst cross functional teams.
Focus on customer needs and provide timely solutions.

Requirements

Must be able to work 12 hours shift, including night shift.
Minimum Polytechnic Engineering Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience
Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred
Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process and technologies is preferred
High level of cooperation with good communication skills.
