A Senior Research Fellow position as an expert in structural biology is available at the School of Biological Sciences, Nanyang Technological University (NTU). We are seeking a highly experienced senior scientist with expertise in structural biology, particularly in protein chemistry and cryo-EM. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving research on mycobacterial enzymes and multi-subunit membrane-embedded complexes, contributing both technical expertise and leadership to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and conduct research on the 3D structure determination of mycobacterial enzymes and large protein complexes.
Set up and perform cryo-EM and cryo-ET experiments, including data collection, processing, and structural analysis.
Provide mentorship to students and junior researchers in the lab.
Communicate research findings effectively and contribute to collaborative projects.

Job Requirements:

PhD in structural biology, biochemistry, or a related field with at least of years of relevant experience.
Extensive technical experience in protein chemistry, protein engineering, and 3D structure determination of large/multi-subunit membrane enzyme complexes.
Proven expertise in cryo-EM experiment design, execution, and data interpretation.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring students or junior scientists.
