We are looking for an amazingly well-rounded Senior Corporate Secretary Executive to help quickly grow our business in Singapore. You will be forward-thinking, with a desire to work in a progressive, tech-assisted environment.

Mission

As a Senior Corporate Secretary, you are expected to operate as a strategic advisor and trusted governance partner to clients. You will independently manage complex corporate secretarial matters, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide high-quality governance support while demonstrating sound judgment under pressure and strong ownership of client portfolios.

Outcomes

You will report to the CorpSec Manager or Co-Heads of CorpSec and operate with minimal supervision while taking full ownership of your portfolio
You may supervise, guide, and mentor Junior Corporate Secretarial Executives, ensuring work quality, accuracy, and professional development within the team
You will independently manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring service excellence in deliverables, timely statutory filings, accurate billing, strong client communication, and high retention rates
You will act as named secretary for clients within your portfolio and take full accountability for statutory compliance and governance matters
You are expected to demonstrate deep knowledge of Singapore regulatory frameworks, including but not limited to the Companies Act 1967, AML/CFT requirements, and ACRA regulations, and apply this expertise in advising clients effectively
You will proactively understand client operations, business objectives, and governance structures to provide meaningful and strategic guidance beyond routine compliance tasks
You will support junior team members in resolving complex matters and escalate appropriately when required to ensure optimal outcomes
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve workflows, drive automation, enhance accuracy in statutory filings, strengthen compliance controls, and contribute to improved operational efficiency and profitability
You are expected to uphold the highest professional standards, maintain strict client confidentiality, and consistently contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

To do this, you will have:

Recognised degree/diploma in Business Administration / Corporate Services / Legal Studies or equivalent
Professionally certified with CGQP qualification and a member of CSIS is preferred
Should you be comfortable with being appointed as the named secretary for clients in their portfolio
Preferably more than 5 years experience in client facing and handling complex corporate secretarial matters including experience being RQI and named company secretary, and attending board of directors meetings
Proven track record of working in a fast paced and technology driven organisation
Good understanding of Singapore regulatory compliance
Hands-on experience with Google workspace and Microsoft applications
Resourceful and experience with various productivity software applicable to facilitate daily work
Self-motivated, positive attitude, proactive, highly-organised and detail-oriented
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Able to adapt to VUCA way of thinking and contribute to process improvement efforts
Able to meet tight deadlines
Immediate availability is preferred.

The interview process

The successful candidate will participate in the below interview stages. We anticipate the process to last no more than 3 weeks from start to finish.

Whether the interviews are held over video call or in person will depend on your location and the role.

TA Screen

A 30-minute video call with a member of our HR team to discuss your application, explore your career background, and understand your expectations for the role.

Technical Round

A :60 minute chat with the Hiring Manager. They'll discuss your last 1-2 roles to understand your experience in more detail.

Soft Skills Assessment

A :45 minute chat with a leadership team, where they will dive into some of your recent work situations to understand how you think and work.

Offer + reference interviews

We'll make a non-binding offer verbally or over email, followed by a couple of short phone or video calls with references that you provide to us.
