We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Regional Tax Manager to lead and manage a wide range of tax matters across the business. This role provides strategic and operational tax support while working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure alignment with local regulations and global tax policies.

My client is a listed company in its field of business with strong international operations and have grown over the years through organic expansions and acquisitions. They are currently looking for a Regional Tax Manager to strengthen its in‑house tax capability.

Description

Manage end-to-end tax compliance and reporting obligations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to applicable tax regulations
Support tax advisory matters related to business operations, transactions, and structural changes
Partner with internal finance and business teams to provide practical tax input on commercial initiatives and projects
Coordinate with external tax advisors and authorities on routine queries, audits, and filings
Identify tax risks and opportunities, recommending mitigation strategies and process improvements
Contribute to transfer pricing documentation and intercompany tax matters, where applicable
Support tax-related aspects of acquisitions, restructuring, or other corporate transactions
Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess potential business impact
Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives to enhance tax processes and reporting efficiency

Profile

The Ideal Candidate Should Have The Following

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related discipline; professional tax or accounting qualification preferred. Prior exposure in Big 4 and progressive commercial environments is an advantage
Strong mix of tax compliance and tax advisory experience acrosss multiple jurisdictions
Solid understanding of BEPS, transfer pricing, and international tax concepts
Experience participating in tax technology or tax portal implementations is a plus
Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a dynamic environment
