Job role: Assistant Manager to Manager (Insurance Broking)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and develop a portfolio of client accounts
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions
Preparation and presentation of insurance proposals, quotations and renewals
Handle client inquiries and resolve issues
Collaborate with underwriters and other internal teams to deliver best solutions for clients
Conduct regular reviews of client accounts to ensure optimal overage and identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions to provide informed advice to clients
Foster a cohesive and collaborative team culture within the division as well as across the company

JOB SCOPE

Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in Corporate Insurance, specifically in Property and Casualty; additional experience in Marine and Construction insurance will be advantageous.
Analyse client needs and risk exposures specific to these industries and recommend appropriate insurance products and services
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all dealings with clients and insurers.

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

Enjoys working with people and building relationships with people
Meticulous and mindful of deadlines
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in Corporate insurance with a minimum of 5 years in an insurance or broking firm or similar capacity
Experienced in MNC accounts and/or handling tenders will be an advantage.
A diploma / degree holder in any discipline and/or professional insurance qualifications, i.e. ACII, DGI or BCP, PGI, ComGI Certifications
