Job Summary:

The Drafter will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed electrical drawings and schematics using Eplan software. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in translating engineering concepts into comprehensive technical drawings for manufacturing and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Create, modify, and maintain electrical drawings using Eplan Electric P8, including schematic diagrams, panel layouts, single-line diagrams, and termination drawings.
Generate comprehensive project reports from Eplan, such as Bill of Materials (BOM), cable schedules, and terminal diagrams.
Collaborate closely with Electrical Design Engineers to understand design requirements and ensure all drawings meet project specifications.
Ensure all drawings adhere to company standards and relevant industry codes (e.g., IEC).
Manage the drawing library and maintain a systematic filing system for all project documents.
Prepare as-built drawings upon the completion of projects.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Professional Certificate, Diploma, or ITE in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Design, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of drafting experience in an electrical or control systems environment.
Proficiency in Eplan Electric P8 is mandatory for this role. Candidates without Eplan experience will not be considered.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD is highly advantageous.
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical engineering drawings and specifications.
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage deadlines effectively.

Electrical Drafter
