At least 3 years of hands-on experience administering Jira Cloud in a production environment.
Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript) for automation and integration.
Proven experience in building Jira automation rules and using REST APIs and webhooks for custom integrations.
Possess solid understanding of Jira workflow design, permission schemes, issue types, and project templates.
Familiarity with CI/CD principles and version control systems (e.g. Git).
Familiarity with software development life cycle.
Familiarity with AWS (or GPC) is highly desirable.
Exposure to enterprise IT environments and security/compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Jira Cloud, including user management, permissions, and project configurations.
Design, implement, and optimize Jira workflows, custom fields, screens, and schemes to align with business processes.
Build and maintain automation rules using Jira Automation, scripting, and REST APIs to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.
Develop and manage integrations between Jira and other enterprise tools (e.g., Confluence, GitHub, ServiceNow).
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Jira solutions.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity across Jira projects.
Document configurations, automation scripts, and best practices for long-term maintainability.
Provide training and support to users, ensuring effective adoption of Jira features and workflows.
