Job Description

The FVP, Product Manager will drive the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of innovative digital currency and payment products for United Overseas Bank Ltd, ensuring a competitive edge and strong market adoption.

Job Responsibilities

Define and execute the product roadmap for digital currency and payment solutions, including stablecoins, CBDCs, and other emerging payment technologies, in alignment with the bank's strategic objectives.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessments to identify new opportunities and inform product development.
Translate market insights and business requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and use cases for development teams.
Collaborate closely with engineering, design, legal, compliance, risk, and operations teams throughout the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.
Manage product backlogs, prioritize features, and make data-driven decisions to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and promotional activities, in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and identify areas for improvement to enhance customer experience and drive business growth.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the digital currency and payments landscape.
Act as a subject matter expert and advocate for digital currency and payment products both internally and externally.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with preferably at least 3 years specifically focused on digital payments, fintech, or digital currency products within a financial institution.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex digital products.
Deep understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, CBDCs, and other distributed ledger technologies.
Strong knowledge of payment systems, schemes (e.g., SWIFT, instant payments), and regulatory frameworks in the financial services industry.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed product choices.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience with agile development methodologies.
