Job Summary

The Finance Executive will support the finance function across tax compliance and incentives, financial operations, internal controls, corporate finance, and funding activities. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work across multiple finance disciplines in a dynamic business environment.

Responsibilities

1. Tax Compliance & Incentives

Support preparation and filing of corporate tax returnsin compliance with local tax regulations.
Assist in GST/VAT reporting and other statutory tax submissions.
Track and maintain documentation for tax incentives and government grants.
Liaise with external tax consultants and auditors for compliance and advisory matters.
Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure timely implementation of updates.

2. Financial Operations

Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Assist in preparation of financial statements and authority reports, to ensure in compliance with relevant standards and reporting requirements
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather necessary documentation and provides support to the superior

3. Internal Controls

Review purchase to payment process to ensure completeness, accuracy and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
Perform pre-qualification assessments for vendors and customers, including financial and compliance checks
Review monthly sales billing processes and resolve any related discrepancies

4. Corporate Finance & Funding

Support fundraising activities, including preparation of required documentation for due diligence coordination with stakeholders and tracking progress of funding initiatives.
Perform ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
At least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.
Knowledge of accounting principles and local tax regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., ERP systems).
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
