Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the exhibitions and events industry
Leverage existing industry contacts to generate leads and convert them into revenue
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
Actively conduct outdoor sales activities, including client meetings, networking events, and industry functions
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches
Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, project management) to ensure successful project delivery
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the exhibitions/events industry
Proven track record in a hunter sales role, with consistent achievement of sales targets
Strong existing network and contacts within the events, exhibitions, or related industries
Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
Comfortable with frequent client-facing activities and outdoor meetings
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
Strong business acumen and understanding of the events/exhibitions landscape

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in selling exhibition space, event sponsorships, or event-related services
Established relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and event organizers
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting
