Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of 4 finance staff, providing mentorship, direction, and performance evaluation.
Oversee full-spectrum accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes for both local Singapore operations and an overseas subsidiary.
Review journal entries and reconciliation schedules, ensuring financial records are complete, accurate, and aligned with Singapore FRS/IFRS standards.
Ensure financial reporting complies with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
Act as the primary liaison with external auditors for both the Singapore entities and the foreign subsidiary, managing the end-to-end audit process.
File GST returns accurately and on time.
Review corporate tax calculations for Singapore operations and coordinate with external tax advisors.
Support transfer pricing documentation and ensure proper treatment of intercompany transactions.
Serve as a finance business partner to the overseas subsidiary, delivering financial analysis and guidance to support operations while ensuring adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and company policies.
Prepare and present monthly financial forecasts and annual budgets for the overseas subsidiary.
Assist with tax computations and transfer pricing documentation for the overseas subsidiary.
Handle ad-hoc assignments, including government surveys and preparation of management reports as required.

Key Requirements

Minimum 6-8 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably within a regional or multinational environment.
Strong technical knowledge of Singapore FRS/IFRS, GST, and corporate tax.
Experience with audit and tax compliance across multiple legal entities.
Familiarity with cross-border operations (experience involving the Middle East is a plus).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Proven experience managing a team.
Experience with SAP is an advantage.
