Molex is looking for Product Design Engineer to design our industry leading high-speed interconnect solutions for our customers.

What You Will Do

Conceptualize and Design: Lead and participate in design and development activities from concept to production with a well-defined Product Development Process.
Design Improvement and Optimization: Provide engineering support for product modifications, cost reductions, manufacturing process improvements, and other activities as required.
Collaboration: Work in a cross-functional team involved in new product development and manufacturing which may include interactions with team members across different time zones.
Product Documentation: Generate design specifications, design proposals and/or product designs that meet customer requirements.
Innovation and Research: Drive successful development of new product development projects, research and develop ideas for new and/or improved designs for the high-speed interconnect industry.
Collaborative Problem-Solving: Provide consultation to Sales or/and Marketing on design and engineering related matters.
Additional Support: Visit Customers, ODMs (Original Design Manufacturers), and CMs (Contract Manufacturers) to support product and manufacturing activities, if required.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical and/or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred)
Experience with advanced parametric 3D CAD systems
Oral and written communication skills
Problem solving and critical thinking skills
Team-oriented personality

What Will Put You Ahead

Proficient in CAD & PLM software such as Siemens NX, Teamcenter & Polarion
Design experience with high-speed interconnect solutions
Experience in a connector design and manufacturing environment
