The Plot Thickens: Job Description

Knowledge of Agency Life/Clients/Technology

Possess understanding of client accounts across Southeast Asia, including market landscape, competitive environment, and industry dynamics
Understand client business objectives, particularly in technology and gaming sectors
Apply a regional perspective to communication strategies, supporting multi-market campaigns
Demonstrate strong executional skills and motivation to grow within a fast-paced agency environment

Project Management

Support account leads in driving day-to-day execution of regional PR programmes across Southeast Asia
Coordinate across affiliate markets to ensure consistency in messaging, timelines, anddeliverables
Managemultiple workstreams and priorities across markets with guidance from seniorteam members
Demonstrate good and evolving presentation and organisational skills

Client Management Skills/Strategic Thinking

Exhibit a proactive and can do attitude across client activities and internal coordination
Supportengagement with client stakeholders, including regional product teams andpartners
Contributeto programme recommendations based on inputs from senior account leads
Provide practical solutions and support execution rather than only identifying issues
Appl ya regional lens when supporting strategy development across Southeast Asia markets

Digital

Possess a working understanding of digital and social media channels, particularly within technology and gaming ecosystems
Support integration of digital thinking into communication strategies and campaigns
Stay updated on evolving digital trends and apply relevant insights into client work
Apply a digital-first mindset when supporting communications planning and execution

Media/Analyst Relations

Support development of media relationships across Southeast Asian markets
Assist in proactive and reactive media outreach, including pitching, follow-ups, and coordination of interviews
Monitor editorial calendars and identify opportunities for client coverage across markets
Contribute to building relationships with key media and influencers relevant to client portfolios
Support media engagements across regional campaigns and events

Writing Services

Demonstrate strong written skills for press materials (press releases, pitches, briefing documents, reports)
Support localisation of regional narratives into market-relevant content across Southeast Asia
Develop and refine writing skills for more complex materials over time
Conduct research and develop supporting materials for client programmes and industry insights

HA Services

Participate in internal knowledge sharing and cross-market collaboration initiatives
Support coordination with regional and global teams to deliver integrated campaigns
Participate in HA committees to support company initiatives (e.g. hiring, HA moments, marketing, etc.)
Demonstrate ability to work across markets and teams in a regional environment

Regional & Sector Exposure (Technology & Gaming)

Support communications programmes for technology and gaming clients operating acrossSoutheast Asia
Assistin managing multi-market campaigns, including product launches, events, andstakeholder engagement
Coordinatewith affiliate teams and regional stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery ofcampaigns
Build familiarity with gaming and technology industry trends, audience behaviours, and market nuances
Contribute to regional accounts requiring cross-border coordination and consistent execution

The Hero's Background: Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, PR/Advertising, Marketing/Integrated Communications, Journalism, Linguistics or other relevant degrees
Have a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience (agency experience is preferred)
Some experience in media relations, in client servicing and project management
Interested in working with financial firms, companies in fintech, digital assets and web3
Superior writing and verbal communication skills in English proficiency in another language, such as Chinese, would be an advantage
Passion for digital and social media communications
An entrepreneurial and curious mindset
