The role

An opportunity now exists to join our Funds team, in Singapore. We are seeking a technically strong and ambitious associate looking to hone his/her skills and with the ability to develop clients. You will be working closely under the supervision of other experienced lawyers in a collegiate team. The role will focus on all aspects of funds-related work, and involves drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on regulatory compliance, and providing ongoing legal support to fund managers and investors.

We are looking for someone with strong academic credentials, preferably with experience in regulatory issues affecting fund managers and funds as well as in fund formation matters. A strong corporate background is essential.

Key Skills And Experience

- 1-2 PQE is desirable
- Admitted to practice in Singapore
- Prior funds experience is highly preferable
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent drafting skills
- Analytical, organised, detailed and able to exercise initiative
- Excellent research skills
- Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Able to manage multiple tasks
