Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised intern student to support the asset management team with tasks related to asset register, tagging, and tracking. This is an excellent opportunity for students or early-career professionals interested in gaining on-the-job training experience in asset management and operational processes.

Job Responsibilities

Asset Tagging and Identification: Assist in physically tagging company assets, ensuring compliance with internal tracking systems.
Asset Register Updates: Support the update and maintenance of the asset register, ensuring that all information is accurate and up to date (including asset descriptions, locations, condition, and ownership).
Inventory Audits: Assist in conduct physical inventory checks and assist in reconciling discrepancies between the physical assets and the asset register.
Documentation Support: Assist in the documentation of asset-related information, including photos, certificates, and other relevant paperwork.
Data Entry and Reporting: Accurately input data into asset management systems and provide reports on asset status, location, and condition.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, and IT, to ensure the proper handling and tracking of assets.

Job Requirements

Currently studying Diploma or Bachelor Degree program such as, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Office Management, or other relevant fields.
Possesses basic understanding of asset management principles and practices will be an added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Displays ability to work independently and as part of a team
Presents excellent communication skills verbal and writing.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
