About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations at our matcha and beverage production unit. This role involves overseeing the preparation of high-quality matcha-based drinks, desserts, and related items while ensuring efficiency, consistency, and top-tier hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations related to the preparation of matcha beverages, desserts, and café food items
Lead, train, and manage a team of baristas, kitchen staff, and production assistants
Ensure product consistency, quality control, and adherence to presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and compliance with food hygiene regulations (SFA, NEA, etc.)
Monitor ingredient inventory and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate stock levels
Develop and maintain SOPs for drink preparation, equipment use, and safety practices
Assist in new menu item testing and implementation
Troubleshoot production issues and suggest process improvements
Prepare daily production reports and collaborate with management on performance and output

Requirements

Prior supervisory or team leadership experience in a cafe, F&B, or beverage production environment
Strong knowledge of matcha drinks, tea-based beverages, and café-style desserts is a plus
Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations in Singapore (e.g., SFA, NEA standards)
Good organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced service environment
Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, or shifts as required
Physically fit - able to handle equipment, stand for extended periods, and assist in daily prep

Working Conditions

Based in a café or central kitchen/production environment
Fast-paced and physically active role involving long hours on your feet
Shifts may include early starts, weekends, and public holidays depending on operational needs
