Job Summary:

This is a 2-month temporary contract Legal Secretary role. You will help to support different practice groups with various administrative tasks. We are looking for someone who can plug and play, is organised and responsible, and who has a good understanding of international environments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide secretarial support to various fee earners, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and screening all incoming and outgoing communications.
Oversee all legal administrative tasks including matter opening and closing, database management, formatting of documents etc.
Assist lawyers with the billing process, ensuring timely submission of bills. This includes drafting pre-bills, editing narratives, preparing cover letters/emails, and finalising bills.
Prepare and submit expense claims

Requirements

Proven experience of minimally 3-7 years as a Legal Secretary in a reputable law firm is required, preferably with some exposure to an offshore set up.
Exemplary spoken and written communication skills in English are essential.
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively as a team player.
Proactive, driven, and demonstrates resilience and the ability to perform effectively under high-pressure situations.
Exceptional professional conduct and excellent cross-cultural communication skills while handling communications discreetly and maintaining confidentiality.
