Assistant Plant Manager| Hazardous Waste Management

Office Location: Jurong East Singapore
Working Hours: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm, Sat 8am - 12pm
Monthly Salary: Base up to $7000 + Variable Bonus (VB)
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent Contract

Responsibility

Lead safety initiatives, enforce zero-harm policies, conduct audits, incident investigations, and deliver regular safety briefings.
Ensure regulatory compliance across all plant operations in line with EHS regulations and industry standards.
Oversee daily plant operations, managing throughput to meet waste processing targets while minimizing downtime.
Coordinate maintenance programs and provide technical troubleshooting support for waste treatment equipment.
Manage resources and workforce, including shift schedules, manpower allocation, and availability of chemicals, tools, and spare parts.
Drive training, performance development, process optimization, and continuous improvement, including implementing 5S standards and evaluating new technologies or equipment upgrades.

Requirement

Minimum Degree in in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 year of experience in waste treatment or industrial plant operations, with at least 3 years in a management role.
Comprehensive knowledge of physical, chemical, and biological treatment systems, along with specialized waste equipment.
Candidate who can start immediately or within short notice will be preferred
