Opportunity to join an established player in the soft commodity space as Regional Treasury Manager.

The Role

Reporting to APAC Finance Director and the Global Treasurer, you will be responsible for managing a lean team and overseeing the treasury function for APAC which includes cash flow management, intercompany financing, cash forecast, FX hedging operations and strategy as well as trade finance operations. You will also support the confirmation of letter of credit, provide trade finance line forecast, negotiation of fees, establish new trade finance lines as well as credit and KYC queries.

This is a highly visible role with the APAC region and you will have the opportunity to take the lead in driving project improvements and efficiencies with regards to processes and procedures for the treasury function across the region.

Your Profile

As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience

At least 6 years of regional treasury exposure within an MNC environment.
Proven exposure in cash management and ideally hands-on experience in FX hedging and trade finance
Prior managerial exposure will be ideal
Prior exposure in a commodity trading environment will be preferred
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment as well as manage occasional night calls with the headquarters will be essential
